I ordered 3 leather field guide covers in tan. They are exactly what I was looking for. The tan color you see in the pictures is true. The leather is not suede-like, thin and floppy, nor is it too stiff, but just the right thickness to wear well for years of use. I am very pleased with these leather field guide covers.
